He studied law at the University of Basel and graduated as the best of the class summa cum laude in 2003. In 2005, he was awarded a doctorate in law (Dr. iur.) from the Law Faculty of the University of Basel, also summa cum laude. He was admitted to the Bar in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel H\u00e4ring worked as an assistant at the University of Basel, as a clerk at the Cantonal Court of Basel-Landschaft and in a law firm in Basel. In addition, he was a lecturer at the University of Basel for many years. In 2007, he joined the law firm b\u00f6ckli b\u00fchler partner as an attorney, and has been a partner since 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel H\u00e4ring has broad professional experience and expertise. His main areas of practice include commercial and corporate law (&#8220;business law&#8221;). He advises companies, boards of directors and management in all legal matters (&#8220;single point of entry&#8221;). His strengths also include compliance and commercial criminal law, contract law, life sciences, employment law and all types of litigation. He has extensive experience in complex national and international issues and disputes.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel H\u00e4ring, in addition to his practice as an attorney, serves as a part-time judge at the Cantonal Court of Basel-Landschaft and as a member of the Bar Examination Commission of Basel-Landschaft. His focus lies in combining legal expertise with entrepreneurial responsibility \u2013 particularly in the areas of risk management, compliance, and sustainable corporate development.
