Daniel Häring was born in 1978 and grew up in the Basel area. He studied law at the University of Basel and graduated as the best of the class summa cum laude in 2003. He earned a doctorate in law, also summa cum laude, at the University of Basel based on his thesis «Complicity in Negligence Offenses» in summer 2005. He was admitted to the Bar in December 2006.
Before joining böckli bühler partners in February 2007, Daniel Häring practised as an assistant at the University of Basel, as a court clerk in the Cantonal Court of Basel-Land, and at another Basel law firm. He has been named a partner as of January 1, 2012. Sides his work as a lawyer Daniel Häring is a part-time judge at the Cantonal Court of Basel-County as well a lecturer at the University of Basel.
Daniel Häring brings to the firm broad professional experience with a strong background. His main practice areas include Commercial Law, in particular consultancy of companies in all areas of legal affairs (single point of entry), Company and Contract Law, Employment Law, Life Sciences, (Commercial) Criminal Law as well as enforcement proceedings of every kind.
In his leisure time, Daniel Häring enjoys martial arts and sport in general.
